Labour International - Geneva and France-Voisine

Labour International Coordinating Committee meeting

Our Branch is delighted to host the second meeting next month on Saturday 23 June - the first was held in Paris on 20 April 2000.

The programme open to all members, will comprise a business meeting in the afternoon, possibly at the ILO at Geneva, followed by a reception and dinner addressed by speakers when your guests are also welcome. We are hoping that our Honorary President, Denis MacShane can come.

One of the meeting's agenda topics is future strategies for overseas voting rights. To that end, Steven Oates is compiling and editing various approaches put forward by LI members, please contact him with your ideas at oates@ilo.org

We are also suggesting as agenda item an overview and critique of the government's achievements and projections for the next four years to submit to Millbank. If you would like to put forward agenda items, please forward them to Steven or Chris Jones at JonesCT@aol.com

Contact Cerdic Warrillow to register in advance to facilitate the restaurant booking and for advice on hotel bookings or staying with local hosts - limited number available - if needed. You can reach Cerdic at 149 chemin Deux Hameaux, 01710, Thoiry, France, tel. 00 33 4 50 41 23 86 or at warrillo@iprolink.fr
